Welcome to Durden's Labrador Retrievers. We strive to breed only top quality Labs with good health and temperaments. Our Lab pups are used for hunting, shows or as family companions.

My husband started breeding/training Labs with a friend of the family when he was still in high school. I joined him in his endeavors to improve the breed after we met. We've been breeding for over 4 years now (15 years for him).
We live in Missouri, about 60 miles south of St. Louis. Tony (husband) is currently enrolled at Mineral Area College working towards his Computer Aided Design/Drafting Associate Degree. He is also a retired US Navy Gunners Mate. I work across the street from our home so I'm always close by if anything should happen.
We live in a 2 bedroom home with a good sized back yard and a small kiddie pool for the pups. Our dogs are born and raised in the home. They are housebroken and get plenty of time outside during the day to play. They love retrieving, swimming, playing in water and running.  Our dogs and pups are held, loved and cared for from day one. It is with great sorrow when we let them go, but we know they go to good homes due to our questioning potential owners and the guarantee that's signed before they leave.
